Set candle-close alerts for what you trade: BOS, choch, sweeps, zone entry. Close the laptop until one fires. The entry and the risk stay your call.

What traders ask before paying.
No. Structure events (BOS, choch) confirm on candle close only, using a pip rule plus a minimum-candle confirmation. Orderblocks are drawn the moment they form and invalidated once your mitigation % is reached. OB sweeps are flagged on the wick that takes the level. You can check this yourself: open bar replay, step through candle by candle, and watch the labels. Nothing appears on a bar that was not there when that bar closed. Run it yourself: the repaint test takes five minutes and works on any script.
Not by itself, and anyone who tells you otherwise is selling something. TracerSMC removes the hours of markup and shows you where price is relative to structure, zones and HTF bias. Entry, risk and discipline are still yours. It speeds up a workflow; it does not replace judgement.

What they do not do: fade mitigated zones, put H4 and daily bias on the chart you are trading, alert you when price enters a zone, or fit in one indicator slot. No. TracerSMC runs on the free plan and uses one of your two indicator slots. A paid plan only matters if you want to stack other custom scripts or run more than three alerts at once.
Any chart on TradingView. Pip size is auto-detected for FX majors and crosses, JPY pairs, gold, silver, indices (US100, US30, US500, DAX, FTSE, Nikkei and others), crypto majors and oil. You can override it manually for anything exotic.
It helps. Every object is labelled on the chart (BOS, choch, OB, sweep), so you can learn the concepts while you watch them print. But the more SMC you know, the more you will get out of it.
